TREATMENT INFORMATION

The process of collagen stimulation is caused by the absorption of CaHA microspheres. Radiesse is injected under the skin, providing an immediate and visible correction to the wrinkles and hollowness.

When injected, the gel carrier gradually dissolves and the microspheres remain in place, providing a structural scaffold that stimulates fibroblasts, responsible for collagen production. Neocollagenesis, the gradual growth of your own collagen, continues for a year or longer.

Radiesse also builds elastin, responsible for strength, tightening and elasticity of the skin.

Over time, the CaHA microspheres are naturally metabolised by the body, leaving behind only the newly formed collagen structures. The outcome is a longer-lasting correction, which goes beyond superficial enhancements, providing depth, volume, and a remarkably natural look.

Injectables are not suitable in pregnancy or when breastfeeding. Where there is any active infection in or nearby the treatment site, injectables cannot be performed.
